PRACTICAL INFORMATIONS
CONFERENCE SCHEDULE : Registration will start on Sunday August 4th in the afternoon. The opening session is scheduled to take place on Monday August 5th at 8:30; the conference will end on Saturday August 10th at 11h. Session hours are 8:30 - 12:30 and 14:00 - 17:30 Sessions of the conference will be held in the new ICISE conference Center; CONFERENCE FACILITIES
: The following equipment will be available:
ACCOMODATION : Accomodation in the four star Seagull Hotel in Quy Nhon is guaranteed if your reservation is made before Mai 15th. After this date, if the Seagull hotel is full, you will be accomodated in a neighbouring hotel. All sessions will be held in the hotel istself. Participants will be expected to arrive on Sunday August 4th, and will leave on Saturday August 10th in the afternoon. All meals will be served in the hotel for all participants. The cost per person (full board for 6 days) will amount to $270 US for a double room and $390 US for a single room. If you wish to have alcoholic or soft drinks with your meals, these will be charged to your account by the hotel. The meals will include mineral water. Payment for board and lodging should be done upon arrival either in cash or with your credit card (the latter will incur a small supplement).
Important Note: If you intend to arrive before Sunday, August 4th and leave after Saturday, August 10th, please let us know in advance so that we can try to make the appropriate hotel reservation for you: contact Hady.Schenten@yahoo.com Please note also that if you arrive before midday and wish your room to be made available immediately, you will be charged for an extra day. You must inform us so that the hotel can prepare your room in advance.IMMIGRATION : VISA : All participants do require a visa to visit Vietnam, except for few exemptions listed below. This internet visa procedure is cheaper but it does take some time (~ 60 min) at the airport immigration office, depending on the queue. Do not forget to have with you 2 passport photos and USD in cash as required by the internet visa service. REGISTRATION INFORMATIONS Registration fee

Payment can be made either
The transfer should indicate clearly your name to identify the payee. Please inform the conference secretariat by fax or email that the transfer has been done. You should obtain proof of payment and hand it to the conference secretariat at the conference site. It will take at least four (4) weeks for our account to be credited, so please have the transfer made before June 15th., 2013. FINANCIAL SUPPORT Some limited accommodation funds may be available for young scientists from developing countries and from Eastern European countries. An application form for financial support will be provided here shortly. You should send it (including a short resume) and ask for a letter of recommendation to be sent to: J. Conference dinner on Thursday August 8th in the evening.
All participants and their families are invited to regularly
scheduled events. Several post-conference Tours are proposed for participants: their preliminary program can be seen on this web site. It will also be possible to have a short (1-2 days) tour either before or after the conference. However, this will have to be arranged directly by the participant through a local travel agency. We will provide the link for a local travel agent in the near future. |
