Practical Information

July 27, 2021. The spread of new variants of the coronavirus makes the situation in Vietnam and internationally more uncertain than ever. We are deeply sorry to announce the cancellation sine die of the “Vietnam” chapter of our conference “Climate Change in the Asia-Pacific region” which was to be held in Quy Nhon in October 2021.

We are still willing to gather the scientific community working on climate change in the Asia-Pacific region and will organize the conference when the situation will be back to normal.

If you plan to stay in Vietnam longer than a month, please either go to your nearest Vietnamese consulate or through the Internet (you will have to retrieve it on your arrival) at following websites:

This internet visa procedure is cheaper but it does take some time (~ 60 min) at the airport immigration office, depending on the queue. Do not forget to have with you 2 passport photos and USD in cash as required by the internet visa service.

To request invitation letters for visa applications, please contact Aimie Fong ([email protected]).
