Call for applying IUPAB Travel Award

NanoBioCOM2023, held in Quy Nhon, Vietnam, has been officially sponsored by IUPAB, which is offering Travel Awards to young scientists. Interested applicants who meet the criteria below are encouraged to apply:

• Young scientists, including undergraduate students, master's and doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior researchers, are eligible to apply.
• A strong background in fields related to Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biosensor, and Computational Simulation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Biology is required.
• Applicants must register for the symposium and present an oral or poster presentation
• Funded candidates must take a group photo at the conference venue for posting on the IUPAB website and in IUPAB News
• Within one week after the meeting, a short report (approximately 200 words) about the symposium must be submitted to the symposium secretariat

A total of 38 award recipients will be selected based on limited funding and objective factors, with 30 awards reserved for Vietnamese young scientists and 8 awards for international young scientists. Recipients of the IUPAB Travel Award will receive a Travel Award certificate from NanoBioCOM2023.

The award amount is up to $100 for domestic travel of Vietnamese delegates and up to $250 for international delegates.

1. Copy of passport/ID card
2. Short Curriculum Vitae/Resume (less than 5 pages)
3. 3. One-page motivation letter, signed by both the applicant and their supervisor (if they are students), outlining motivations for attending the conference and reasons for requesting financial support. This will also serve as proof of the student status of the applicant
4. Abstract submitted at NanoBioCOM2023

The deadline for receipt of applications is extended to August 15, 2023.
