Summary:

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. These fields play a core role in the career development of individuals and communities. The Erasmus+ program is implemented through many different programme. Since 2014, hundreds of Erasmus+ projects have been approved and implemented in Vietnam, thousands of Vietnamese lecturers and students have been studied and exchanged experiences at higher education institutions in Europe.

Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education projects which last from 2 to 3 years, are aimed at modernizing and reforming higher institutions, developing new curricula, improving governance and building relationships between higher education institutions and enterprises. The project also collaborates with local authorities to address policy issues and prepare a ground for higher education innovation. Vietnam is the country that benefits the most from the Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher education from the European Union for the period 2015 – 2020 (74 programs involving 94 universities/institutions).
