Quy Nhon is a coastal town in central Vietnam that can be reached from Ha Noi city and from Ho Chi Minh City. Arriving from abroad, the second alternative is recommended because of the fare and the duration of the journey.

General travel information

  • Traveling by plane is highly recommended. The flight takes 1hour from Ho Chi Minh City or 1.5 hour from Ha Noi. The destination, The Phu Cat Airport is about 35 km away from Hoang Yen Hotel. Once you arrive Phu Cat Airport, you can take a taxi to the Hoang Yen Hotel. Please be careful when taking a taxi. Information about a recommended taxi company can be found here.
  • Traveling by train is an alternative option if you have time, love trains and want to explore Vietnam. It takes time. About 10 hours from Ho Chi Minh city, and about 20 hours from Ha Noi city. The destination is Dieu Tri Train Station (or Ga Dieu Tri in Vietnamese), 12.2 km from Hoang Yen Hotel. you can take a taxi to the Hoang Yen Hotel. Please be careful when taking a taxi.   • Traveling by bus is another option, but not recommended. This is the cheapest means of transport. Buses are becoming more consistent with international standards. However, you need to contact directly the private companies to arrange the trip. They can stop anywhere you request. The time of traveling is approximately equal to traveling by train.

From Ha Noi city

  • Flight to Phu Cat Airport

Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 1 daily HAN to UIH flights, the average price for one-way ticket for Economy Class is 112 USD while Business Class is 185 USD.   • Train to Dieu Tri Train Station

To get to Dieu Tri Train Station from Ha Noi city, you need to get ticket and depart at

The SE1 (departs at 19:00, takes 21 hours) and SE3 (departs at 23:00, takes 19 hours ) trains and seat of "ANL" (separated "soft" bed) are recommended if you take train. From Dieu Tri Train Station, take a taxi to the Hoang Yen Hotel.

From Ho Chi Minh city

  • Flight to Phu Cat Airport

Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 1 daily SGN to UIH flights, the average price for One-way ticket for Economy Class is 88 USD while Business Class is 134 USD.
