Vietnam Summer School of Science is proudly sponsored and organised by the Recontres du Vietnam and International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education.

The summer school opens free of charge for all selected students. The students who complete all the courses and lectures will be conferred a certificate by the school committee. There will be about 30 official students (more or less depending on our funding), who are far from the VSSS’08 location and are in financial difficulty, selected to award a travel scholarship.

INSPIRING LECTURESLectures delivered at our school cover not only the essentials of science, research skills but also include selected emerging topics. In 2020, we have pandemics, climate change, and new technologies being key talks – in addition to the lectures on basic science, critical thinking, scholarship preparation, and many others. |

REPUTED NETWORKThe network of VSSS consists of about 1000 fellows nationwide and worldwide. Our past alumni are now working as an assistant professor, postdoctoral fellows, doctoral students, recognized engineers, many of whom graduated from reputed universities in the USA (Caltech, MIT), Canada (Toronto), UK (Oxford, Cambridge), Australia (ANU, Monash), Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto), Singapore (NUS, NTU), etc.
