Scope

ICGAC10 is part of a series of biennial conferences on Gravitation, Astrophysics and Cosmology which take place in Asia-Pacific with the goal to favour cooperations among the member countries and within an international context, to promote high level studies on hot topics and to encourage young physicists on these fields. The first meeting was initiated by Prof. Yong Min Cho, one of the founders of the APCTP at SNU in 1993.

The series of meetings has been held in :
1. Seoul, Korea (1993) at Seoul National University, SNU
2. Hsinchu, Taiwan (1995) at National Tsing Hua University
3. Tokyo, Japan (1997) at The Institute for Cosmic Ray Research, Tokyo University
4. Beijing, China (1999) at Beijing Normal University
5. Moscow, Russia (2001) at Center for Gravitation and Cosmology
6. Seoul, Korea (2003) at Ewha Women’s University
7. Jhongli, Taiwan (2005) at National Central University
8. Nara, Japan (2007) at Nara Women’s University
9. Wuhan, China (2009) at Huazhong University of Science and Technology

ICGAC10 is organized with the help of Les Rencontres du Vietnam, whose aim is to promote the scientific research in Vietnam, and in particular in the present topics. With this in mind, researchers native from Vietnam are particularly welcomed to attend this conference.

The usual themes are on Gravity, its experimental studies (measure of Newton Constant, Gravitational Waves,…) and theoretical developments (Stability of constants, Black Holes, Strings, Branes, Massive gravity,..), on Cosmology (Dark matter, Dark energy,…) and Astrophysics. ICGAC10 will present recent developments related to these themes and will extend to Quantum Gravity. In addition, it will also cover those related to Cosmic Rays, currently active in Vietnam, and recent developments on the CMB.
