Rencontres du Vietnam: The First International Symposium on Microbial Genomics and Bioinformatics (MGB2023) will mainly be focused on advances in microbial genomics and bioinformatics approaches including genomics, genomics epidemiology, metagenomics, pipelines and data management…for solving the current problems and questions from basic to applications in the field of microbiology. In addition, this event will provide the platform for strong connection between microbiologist and bioinformaticians to ensure appropriate migration of these technologies to various basic and applied studies in microbiology.

The symposium aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for all delegates to present research results, share experiences, and discuss the most recent innovations, trends and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of microbial genomics, metagenomics, microbiomes, bioinformatics, and etc. This symposium is also a chance for all delegates to maintain the existing and initiate new multidisciplinary collaborative networks.

We cordially invite you to join Rencontres du Vietnam: The first International Symposium on Microbial Genomics and Bioinformatics (MGB2023) at ICISE, Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh on 7-8 December, 2023. ICISE center, located by the sea and surrounded by mountains, is about 6km from the city of Quy Nhon. The symposium hall is equipped with a video projector, a blackboard, an audio system, wireless connection. ICISE has a nice, quiet campus with coconut trees and a beautiful beach.

Symposium format

The symposium will use a range of formats: opening ceremony and plenary/keynote lectures and followed by invited talks, oral and poster presentations in sessions. Poster presentation will be exhibited during the symposium. Additionally, open roundtable discussions and excursions will offer an opportunity for delegates to further networking and discover the beauty of Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh province, Vietnam.
