Summary:

The ASEAN Plus Photonics Symposium aims to provide a high-level international scientific forum where researchers, scientists, and engineers can exchange the latest research advances, emerging concepts, and future perspectives in photonics and light–matter interactions.

The symposium also seeks to promote scientific exchange and research collaboration between ASEAN countries and international partners, while strengthening and expanding research networks across Asia and worldwide.

The symposium is honored to feature two keynote speakers: Prof. Weibo Gao (Nanyang Technological University, Singapore) and Prof. Junsuk Rho (Pohang University of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea).

Expected topics include: Nanophotonics and metasurfaces; Topological and non-Hermitian photonics; Photonic crystals and optical lattices; Light–matter interactions and polaritonic systems; Quantum and nonlinear optics; Integrated and silicon photonics; Ultrafast and terahertz photonics; Photonic devices, lasers, and emerging materials; Photonics for sensing, imaging, and information processing.

Target participants: Researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students working in photonics and closely related fields.
