July 8, 2024 Opening ceremony of the 29th International Symposium on Particles, Strings and Cosmology (PASCOS)

On the morning of July 8, 2024, the 29th International Symposium on Particles, Strings and Cosmology (PASCOS) officially opened at the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) with nearly 120 researchers and scientists from 27 countries and territories.

The symposium was honored to welcome Mr. Huynh Thanh Dat, Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam; Dr. Pham Dinh Nguyen, Director of the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED); and leaders from various departments of the Ministry. The conference brought together many leading speakers in the field of physic: Prof. Atish Dabholkar (ICTP, Trieste), Prof. David Kaplan (University of Washington, Seattle), Prof. Pran Nath (Northeastern University, Boston), Prof. James Pinfold (University of Alberta, Edmonton), and Prof. Michael Ramsey-Musolf (University of Massachusetts Amherst).

The symposium includes 14 plenary sessions and 3 parallel sessions covering the following topics: Neutrino physics; Dark matter and Dark energy; LHC Physics; Precision experiments; Cosmology; Strings; and New Accelerators and technologies.
