Summary:

We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation of no more than 300 words to the 2nd “Vietnam Conference on Earth and Environmental Sciences” (VCEES-2022). The VCEES-2022 will be held during August 7–11, 2022 at the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), Quy Nhon, Vietnam.

The primary goal of the VCEES is to provide a premier interdisciplinary forum for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, concerns, and advances in the fields of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Additionally, by bringing different fields together, the conference also aims to foster networking and collaboration among diverse participants, thereby promoting research and developmental activities in Earth and Environmental Sciences. The conference will be held annually. The 1st conference (VCEES-2021) was successfully held during December 5–9, 2021.

This year, the five-day conference will include themed symposium sessions, each opened by a keynote address from a renowned expert in the field. The topics for contribution are as below (but not limited to):

• S1: Environments
• S2: Solid Earth Sciences
• S3: Atmospheric Sciences
• S4: Aquatic Sciences (wetlands, freshwater and marine systems)
• S5: Solid waste management/plastic pollution
• S6: Interdisciplinary Earth Sciences

We encourage all international colleagues to submit abstracts. Possibility for financial support grants is available for presenters; requests for support can be made during the abstract submission process. Decisions on acceptance and funding will be based on abstract quality and relevance to the conference topic and geographic scope.
