SAGI 2025 Astrophysics Workshop

Starts: 26 May, 2025

Ends: 30 May, 2025

Address:

07 Science Avenue, Ghenh Rang, Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh, Vietnam

Summary:

Building on the success of our 2022 and 2023 workshops, the 2025 edition will once again bring together leading experts to share the latest research findings and explore future collaborative directions on dust polarization and complementary technique to study dust, gas and magnetic fields. This year’s discussions will also highlight emerging topics such as transients, supermassive black holes, dust and ice in planetary systems, and the synergy between polarimetric and spectroscopic studies—including JWST’s role in tracing the composition and dynamics of dust and gas.

The 2025 SAGI Astrophysics workshop is intended to bring together experts on theory, simulations, and observations in Astronomy and Astrophysics. The workshop covers contemporary research topics in Astrophysics, including:

  1. ISM, Star Formation and Stellar Feedback
  2. Protostars, Planet Formation and Exoplanets
  3. Evolved Stars and Cosmic Transients
  4. Supermassive Black Hole and Galaxy Evolution
  5. Solar System
  6. Astronomical Instrumentations
