Summary:

The Symposium is honored to welcome Prof. Takeshi Omasa – President of the Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB), Osaka University, Japan. He will deliver a plenary lecture entitled “Therapeutic Antibody Manufacturing: Recent Progress in mammalian cell / cell cuture engineering” – a research area that has been rapidly developing in recent years.

Notably, as part of the Symposium, the Opening Ceremony of the AFOB Regional Branch Office in Vietnam (AFOB–VN), to be located at the ICISE Centre, will take place, marking an important milestone in strengthening scientific collaboration and biotechnology cooperation between Vietnam and the Asian region.
