Summary:

Workshop announcement

International workshop on molecular diagnostics in microbiology and diseases (MDMD2023) will mainly focus on point-of-care diagnostics, predictive biomarkers, the creation and development of new tools for rapid detection and diagnosis at the molecular level. In addition, various diagnostic applications in microbiology and diseases will be explored giving participants a brilliant insight into this rapidly expanding field.

The workshop aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for all delegates to present research results, to share experiences, and to discuss the most recent innovations, trends and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of Molecular Diagnostics. This workshop is also a chance for all delegates to maintain the existing and initiate new multidisciplinary collaborative networks.

We cordially invite you to join the second Rencontres de Quy Nhon: INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON MOLECULAR DIAGNOSTICS IN MICROBIOLOGY AND DISEASES (MDMD2023) at ICISE, Quy Nhon, Bình Định on 11-14 December, 2023. ICISE center, located by the sea and surrounded by mountains, is about 6km from the city of Quy Nhon. The symposium hall is equipped with a video projector, a blackboard, an audio system, wireless connection. ICISE has a nice, quiet campus with coconut trees and a beautiful beach.

Key subjects

  • Molecular diagnostics in microbiology and infectious diseases
  • Molecular diagnostics in genetics and pathology
  • Molecular diagnostics in plant and animal diseases
  • New technologies in diagnostics

Workshop format

The workshop will use a range of formats: opening ceremony and plenary/keynote lectures and followed by invited talks, oral and poster presentations in sessions. Poster presentation will be exhibited during the workshop. A two-days training course on molecular detection of foodborne diseases will be organized before the workshop. Additionally, open roundtable discussions and excursions will offer an opportunity for delegates to further networking and discover the beauty of Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh province, Vietnam.
