ππππππππππ ππππππππππππ – The 8th Vietnam School on Neutrinos (VSON) 2024 organized by the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) on behalf of the 20th “Rencontres du Vietnam”
Time: from July 15, 2024 to July 26, 2024
The school’s mission is to train and inspire future generations of students to pursue particle physics, especially neutrino experimental physics. The curriculum includes:
- Β Introductory lectures covering theoretical backgrounds of particle physics.
- Β Introductory lectures about particle detectors in general with a focus on the methodology and techniques of observing neutrinos.
- Both hardware and software training sections to provide hands-on experience.
- More advanced lectures will be devoted to modern methods and new developments of neutrino physics in both theoretical and experimental aspects.
VSON organization will select 20-25 international and Vietnamese students depending on the allocated budgets.
